Gallery interpreter Rachel Vaney showcases one of the latest tabletop activities in the APS Solarville Gallery of Arizona Science Center. Guests can learn about the exciting world of technical nutrient usage through the utilization of a cap and gown set constructed of approximately 23 post-consumer recycled plastic water bottles. Generously provided by Oak Hall Cap & Gown, the set opens the eyes of guests to a world in which “wastes” could cycle through a system with multiple lives as varying products, approaching the realization of a “cradle to cradle” system.
