Ever wonder where your food comes from? Or how there is enough food for most 310,000,000 people currently living in the United States? How does that delicious steak actually make it to your table?

Arizona Science Center has partnered with Chipotle Mexican Grill to present a special film and lecture series titled, Chew on This. With this presentation we hope to educate and inform guests about food and the broader impact that it has on our health, the environment and society as a whole.

Join us at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 where we’ll examine the current industrial system, the feedlots and confinement operations through the eyes of farmers in the film American Meat. Then meet Paul Schwennsen from Double Check Ranch, an Arizona ranch known for its free range, grass fed beef to learn how to buy consciously. If you’re one of the first fifty attendees, you’ll receive a $25 gift card to Double Check Ranch courtesy of Chipotle!

This series is FREE to the public and appropriate for families and adults.
