Through hands-on activities and amazing guests, we will zero in on the fun and safe ways to take care of you - from head to toe - in a natural and healthy way. Wonder Why Sleepover
Friday, Oct. 22 @ 7 p.m. – Saturday, Oct. 23 @ 8 a.m.
For girls ages 10-13
Spend the night discovering little known science facts and participate in mind-blowing experiments throughout Arizona Science Center's immersive galleries. Bring along your sleeping bag and pajamas for an unforgettable sleepover at the Science Center!
Pre-registration before Oct. 22 required for participation. Call 602-716-2028 to register.
$38 for members / $43 for non-members per girl. Chaperone not required, but welcome!

Brownie and Junior Girl Scout Badge Workshops
Arizona Science Center makes earning badges exciting for Girl Scouts and easy for leaders! Girl Scouts can earn a variety of science-related badges at specially-designed weekend workshops led by teachers who really know science. Meet girls from other troops and enjoy the Science Center's lively atmosphere as you complete an entire badge in just three hours. Badge Included.
Join a scheduled session on your own or with your troop. You can also schedule a private session for any of the badges we offer on a date of your choosing with a group of ten or more Girl Scouts (contingent on date availability, contact LeAnn Gast at ASC to confirm: 602-253-4296 ext.235).
Are you a Scout Leader with an incredibly busy schedule? Let the Arizona Science Center facilitate a program to help your scouts fulfill badge requirements. All you have to do is organize the trip!
Program are available for Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. Programs include hands-on discover-based workshop and all-day admission to Arizona Science Center.
Reservations:
Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be made no later than 2 weeks before the workshop. Workshops require 10 Scouts. Early registration is strongly recommended. To make your reservations call: Karen at the Girl Scout office at 602-452-7105.
Cost:
Brownie Girl Scouts - $17.00
Junior Girls Scouts - $17.00
Chaperones - $8.00 (1 free chaperone with 5 registered girls)
Ratio-Required:
1-5 (5th grade and under)
1-10 (6th-8th grafe)
Minimum 10 - Maximum 50 follow safety wise ratios

The 2009 pilot of the Girls, Math & Science Partnership's Southwest office, located at Arizona Science Center, is complete. GMSP: Southwest successfully served more than 600 girls over the course of 2009 with dynamic programs like the BrainCake Pajama Party, the Eco-Fabulous green fashion show, and the Glamour Bots engineering workshop.
