Arizona Science Center partners with Fry’s Food Stores offering free admission on September 7 and 8
Fry’s Free Weekend will provide hands-on fun and learning for all ages.
PHOENIX - August 20, 2024 – Arizona Science Center is thrilled to announce a special free weekend, generously supported by Fry's Food Stores. On Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and dazzling demonstrations that inspire curiosity and a love for learning. Whether you're a family looking for a fun day out, a student passionate about science or curious to explore, Fry’s Free Weekend at Arizona Science Center is the perfect weekend.
Fry’s Free Weekend also marks the closing weekend of OceanXperience—an immersive, one-of-a-kind, adventure-driven traveling exhibition designed to raise awareness for the world’s oceans. Guests are invited to step aboard an interactive replica of OceanXplorer, the world’s most advanced research and filmmaking vessel, and choose a mission that sparks your curiosity.

Throughout Fry’s Free Weekend, Guests can add on a variety of experiences for only $5 including films in the five-story Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, OceanXperience, VerticalVenture, Evans Family SkyCycle and CREATE Makerspace Pop Up Activities.
Large crowds are anticipated. Please come prepared to wait outside for 45 minutes or more. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. With the safety of our Guests and Team Members as our top priority, we’ll also take precautions like providing tents for shade and water stations for Guests as they wait to enter the building.

- Cost: FREE general admission courtesy of Fry’s Food Stores.
Additional fees apply for films in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, OceanXperience, VerticalVenture, Evans Family SkyCycle and CREATE Makerspace Pop Up Activities.
