Aquatic WILD

This research-based supplemental curriculum provides over 50 activities that engage, entertain, and empower students learning about life cycles within water biomes - of animals, insects, plants, bodies of water, pollution, conservation, and career pathways. The training provides guided and interactive exposure to the material's pedagogy support for teachers with reviews of concept backgrounds, step-by-step implementations, extension, and assessment ideas. The activities are aligned to national standards. Additional ideas from Arizona Wildlife Foundation, Trout in the Classroom, and NOAA will be provided. Aquatic WILD can be used in a wide variety of K-12 classrooms to engage student thinking, reading, writing, math, history, and current events.

Flying WILD

This research-based supplemental curriculum is unique among the Project Suite of Curriculum. It is structured around learning about birds and their biomes, with the idea of developing an activity, infused Festival to celebrate Birds (or fish, or elk - the process is transferable). In addition to the festival tools, there are over 40 activities that engage, entertain, and empower both students and festival visitors in learning about the life cycles of birds. The training provides guided and interactive exposure to the material's pedagogy support for teachers with reviews of concept backgrounds, step-by-step implementations, extension, and assessment ideas. Additional ideas from Arizona Wildlife Foundation, Arizona Game and Fish, Journey North, and NOAA will be provided. Flying WILD can be used in a wide variety of K-12 classrooms to engage student thinking, planning, and bridge their learning to action while developing the soft skills needed to create an Animal Festival.

Project WILD

This research-based supplemental curriculum provides over 75 activities that engage, entertain, and empower students learning about the interactions within Biomes - of animals, plants, weather, and water. The training provides guided and interactive exposure to the material's pedagogy support for teachers with reviews of concept backgrounds, step-by-step implementations, extension, and assessment ideas. The activities are aligned to national standards. Additional resources from NASA, NOAA, and Citizen Science projects for the classroom will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes since we will be learning through play. Project WILD can be used in a wide variety of K-12 classrooms to engage student thinking, reading, writing, math, and history–it's not just for the Science classroom!
