Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels explores the inner workings of the human body and the incredible breakthroughs in science and medical technologies that are allowing us to live longer, healthier lives. Told through the inspiring stories of researchers, scientists, and everyday people behind these ground-breaking medical innovations—and narrated by Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey—Superhuman Body shows the extraordinary ways our bodies work, and how science and technology help us to intervene, and even save lives, when things go wrong. Meet Ty Duckett, an adaptive surfer with an above-the-knee leg amputation who is living life to the fullest with an advanced prosthetic; Emily Whitehead, a teen whose childhood leukemia was cured after life-changing CAR T-cell therapy; Dr. Ayanna Howard, a pioneering roboticist whose medical robots help teach and rehabilitate humans, like stroke patients and children with social development challenges; and James Garrett, a retired flight nurse whose life-threatening heart condition was treated with TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), an innovative medical procedure that does not require open-heart surgery. An inspirational film about people getting second chances, Superhuman Body will inspire you, move you and empower you – you‘ll be amazed what your superhuman body can do!

Dinosaurs of Antarctica
-
11:00 AM | 1:00 PM | 3:00 PM
Dinosaurs of Antarctica tells the story of a changing environment at the bottom of the world. In ancient times, dinosaurs and other creatures roamed freely in a lush landscape. Today, the continent holds evidence of that world, frozen beneath its ice and snow. As the climate changes again, melting Antarctic ice is allowing scientists to discover the remains of the past—including the fossils of those distinctive creatures! Viewers of all ages will enjoy meeting the newest dinosaurs, like Cryolophosaurus, and other creatures in the film—as well as the dedicated scientists who explore the warming continent to find them.
Dinosaurs of Antarctica is produced by Giant Screen Films. Major funding was provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
