Innovation Anytime, Anywhere.
We bring our world-class exhibits to you—whether onsite at the Center or at your location—through an ever-evolving lineup of innovative programming.
Some programs are ongoing—such as Girls in STEM—while others, like CAMP INNOVATION, are seasonal. Some are designed for teachers’ professional development while others are geared to building leadership in teens.
But what they all have in common is that they ignite curiosity and spur engagement in STEM learning.
Girls in STEM
With events and sessions throughout the year, this program introduces girls to STEM concepts, encourages interest in related professions and connects them with mentors.
CAMP INNOVATION
Multi-day summer camps—each themed around science, technology, engineering or math, and sometimes all four at once!—cater to campers of all ages.
Science on Wheels
We bring STEM learning to your school or community with our Science on Wheels program.
Girl Scouts
The Center designs workshops for Girl Scout troops to help them earn badges and patches in specific STEM areas.
STEAM Saturdays
With events throughout the year, this program allows students in grades 4-8 to explore STEAM topics.
Pal Place
We are proud to participate in the Pal Experiences program, which helps us ensure our facility is accessible to everyone.
Online Resources
Thanks to our partnership with the IF/THEN® Initiative, we provide at-home STEM activities—from lesson plans to interactive videos.
Teens
Are you a teen with a passion for science and serving the community? The Science Center offers Arizona teens multiple ways to get involved and meet new friends, including our Teen Advisory Board, Teen Volunteer Program, Teen Camps, Teen Memberships and Teen Internship Program.
AzSEF
Arizona Science and Engineering Fair
The Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) is the state science fair for Arizona. Managed by Arizona Science Center, AzSEF brings together first-place winners from school, homeschool, district, county, and regional science fairs across Arizona to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes and scholarships.
Center for Leadership in Learning
In addition to our engaging programs for students, we offer the Center for Leadership in Learning, a hub featuring a suite of programs aimed at helping Arizona educators advance STEM learning in a classroom setting. The hub’s offerings include:
- Professional development
- Mentoring and coaching
- Consulting services
