Deepen Your Journey in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math
STEAM Saturdays gives students in grades 4-8 the opportunity to broaden their horizons and explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) fields in a nurturing, hands-on environment.
At each STEAM Saturday, participants will explore a specific STEAM topic through hands-on activities and like-minded peer engagement. From wild weather to fascinating careers, this brand new program aims to spark curiosity in future generations.

Ever wondered how hurricanes form, why Arizona has monsoon season, where earthquakes come from or even why wildfires seem to happen every year? At Arizona Science Center’s first-ever STEAM Saturday, you’ll find out! Through hands-on activities and like-minded peer connections, participants will investigate why Earth has such wild weather and what humans can do to prepare for these unexpected natural disasters.
