APS Solar Month | March
The sun gives us light, energy and heat, all of which are vital to life on Earth. Arizona Science Center celebrates the center of our solar system every March, during APS Solar Month. With special demonstrations and exciting, hands-on activities all month long, visitors get to investigate the power of the sun and brighten up their day.
All APS Solar Month activities are included with general admission to the Science Center. Additional tickets are required for the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, Dorrance Planetarium and our featured exhibition. Children under 3 are always FREE.

She Builds: Adventures in Engineering

CAMP INNOVATION
Spring Break Camp
March 10-14 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Greece, Rome, Egypt, Asia, sunken cities and more—campers will dig up treasures galore! Take a trip back in time to discover Earth’s most influential civilizations, discover what artifacts have been found throughout the years and learn the ancient history of each location. At CAMP INNOVATION’s Spring Break session, investigate how science contributed to civilizations thousands of years ago—and how we use it to study them today.

Citizen Science Month | April
Tap into your science side at Arizona Science Center’s Citizen Science Month! Throughout the month of April, Guests will explore resources, citizen science projects around the globe and hands-on activities. This dedicated effort to include more folks in science discoveries is critical for the future of our Arizona community, country and planet!
Discover that simple acts and observations can make a big difference—and may even lead to scientific breakthroughs! Acts such as participating in a BioBlitz, uploading plant and animal life in your community to a citizen science app, or recording the weather in your area over time are just a few of the ways you can help scientists around the world make more accurate predictions, experiments and discoveries.

Space Rocks!

Amateur Radio Kids Day
Saturday, June 21 | 10:30 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.
Twice a year, ARRL – the American Radio Society – offers an event designed to promote Amateur Radio. Designed to give the on-the-air experience to kids while cultivating a love for amateur radio, this is not an event to be missed!
All Amateur Radio Kids Day activities are included with general admission to the Science Center.

Dinosaurs of Antarctica

Dinosaurs of Antarctica tells the story of a changing environment at the bottom of the world where dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures once roamed freely in a lush landscape. As the climate changes again today, melting Antarctic ice is allowing discovery of the continent’s history—including the fossils of new dinosaurs!

Join Arizona Science Center for live, daily demonstrations that inspire, educate and engage curious minds! Each 15-minute show is available every hour starting at 10:20 a.m. and is included with your Arizona Science Center Membership or general admission
